| Welcome to the VADETS website! The Virginia Association of Driver Education and Traffic Safety (VADETS) is the professional organization of driver education teachers throughout the Commonwealth. Our membership is drawn from over 2,500 driver education teachers from public, private and commercial schools. The purpose of this organization is to assist Virginia driver education teachers in their endeavers to teach young drivers the skills needed to drive a motor vehicle safely. Hopefully you will find the information and links useful. Feel free to contact me or the curator with any important information, teaching ideas, or announcements that you feel should be posted on our site. Also, be sure to get the word out within your school division or commercial school that the site is available for driver educators. Check the site frequently for news and announcements pertaining to our association as well as other important driver education and traffic safety issues from around the state.
